Inuit Games are traditional games that Inuit and other people within the arctic circle play and compete. We use these games to bring each other together and bring out a little competition in the name of culture.
In any given workshop, there are 5 core games that everyone should know about, but there are around 20 games that test your body and mind.
Learning is easy, there will be us to teach you how to play, the rules, tricks, and some of the stories behind the games. Most games are based on physical strength and agility but don’t require much or any equipment.
Inuit Games can be played anywhere, we could use any amount of space given and teach a number of games. We could teach in a gymnasium, classroom, office, outdoors, etc. Access to gym mats could be nice, but not essential.
